- Finally
‘Splash, our Parish Summer Fun Fiesta is here. Do come and join us this Sat,
29th & Sun, 30th May at 6:30 p.m. on the St. Peters Square. There will
be crazy games, dances, Fashion Shows, a
food court and time for Dancing too.
- From
Tuesday, 1st June, the Timings of the morning Masses will be as usual at 6,
6:45, 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
- Sunday
6th June is the feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus. All Eucharistic Ministers
are requested to be present for the 10 a.m. Mass for the renewal of their pledge.
- Youth,
School going children and all others are invited to a Special 5 day preparation
for feast of the Sacred Heart at our Church. This will commence from Mon 7th
June at the evening Mass. There will be skits by the youth and a guest preacher
at each of the masses. During the Time of the Novena, no meetings etc are to be
held on the Campus in the Evenings, so as to have as many attend.
A special Novena prayer card is also available to be taken
home. - Those who
would like to receive Confirmation at our Church this year will have their
first session along with their parents on Sunday, 13th June, after the 11 a.m.
Mass. Please pick up a registration form from the reception counter from the
2nd June onwards.
- The time
to say Goodbye has come. Frs. Aloysius, Joel and Gerard thank each of you dear
parishioners for making their stay here at Peters an enjoyable and Rewarding
one. We may go, but we carry along happy memories of what each of you mean to
us. Do remember us in your prayers.
Fr. Aloysius has already left on the 27th May. Frs. Joel and
Gerard leave on Monday 31st May. - We are
happy to Welcome two new members to our Jesuit Community. Fr. Andrew Rodrigues
who has just arrived and Br. Conrad Fonseca who will be with us sometime this
week. We wish them a Happy and Spirit filled stay with us.

- As part
of ‘Splash’ on Sunday, you are invited to a 45 minute session entitled
‘Building a Green Home’- a session that will let us know what we can do to have
a cooler Mumbai. This Seminar will be held at the School Dance Room after the
10 a.m. Mass.
- You are
invited to join us on your Cycle to
spread the Social Message, ‘For Earth Sake: Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle’. You are requested to gather at the St. Peter’s Square at 6.30
a.m. tomorrow, Monday, 24th May. We will cycle to Bandstand, Carter road, Juhu
beach and back by 8:45 a.m. latest for a short cycling event on the School Back
ground.
If you find cycling to Juhu a little beyond your capacity,
you may return from Carter road itself. - Finally

programme ‘Splash’, we will not have the Sat. 30th May 7:45 p.m. Mass. Please

Please note that the Mass intentions of the 7:45 p.m. Mass will be
offered at the 6.45 p.m. mass. - Those who
would like to receive Confirmation at our Church this year will have their
first session along with their parents on Sunday, 13th June, after the 11 a.m.
Mass. Please pick up a registration form from the reception counter from the
2nd June onwards.

- Senior
Citizens will be having their monthly Housie programme this Thursday at 5.30
p.m. in Our Lady’s Room. All are welcome.

- Next
Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. The Novena in preparation for Pentecost has
begun.
Those of you who haven’t got the novena prayer may pick up a copy from
the
boxes at the Church doors.
- This
year
‘SPLASH’ will be held in three parts. The common Social theme
for all three parts is: ‘For Earth
Sake : Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’:
Part 1 is a Seminar entitled ‘Building a Green Home’. This
Seminar of an hour’s duration will be held at the School Dance Room
after
the 10 a.m. Mass
next Sunday. You are
all invited for the same.
For Part 2: you are invited to join us on your Cycle to
spread our Social message. Those who would like to join in this Cycle
event are
requested to register at the reception counter and gather at the St.
Peter’s
Square at 6.30 a.m. on Monday, 24th May. We will cycle around Bandra,
then off
to Juhu beach and back for a Cycle event on the School background.
Teams
participating at ‘Splash’ will be informed by phone.
Part 3, will be the ‘Splash’ Summer fiesta which will be
held on 29th &
30th May.
Please note that there will be no 7.45 p.m. mass on
Saturday, 29th May.
- We will
have a farewell Mass for Frs. Joel Mascarenhas, Aloysius Murzello and
Gerard
Rodricks, next Sunday at 10 a.m. to wish them the very best for the
future.
- The
Charismatic Renewal, Mumbai announces ‘PENTECOST FEST’ at St. Paul’s
Grounds,
Dadar (E) next Sunday at 4.00 p.m.
- Please

- The
MINISTRY OF THE WORD is a two-year Scripture course conducted by our
Archdiocese. This course is conducted on most Sundays from 9.30 am to
5.30pm at
the St. Pius College, Goregaon. Those interested in doing this course
may get
in touch with our Parish Priest for details.
- The
Rosary will be recited from Monday to Friday
in May, at 6.45 p.m. in
the Church.
- Bulletin
distributors are requested to pick up their sets of Bulletins from this
Tuesday
onwards.
- DVD's of
the talks on apologetics given by Steve Ray at the recent First Family of Faith
Convention are now
available for sale at Family of Faith Foundation office, The Angelus,
Opposite
St. Peters Church. The book ‘Essential Catholic Survival Guide’ is
still
available at our Book stall at a 50 Rupees discount.
- You
are
invited to “SPLASH” our parish summer fun fiesta which is to be held on
Sat
29th and Sun. 30th May evening on the St Peter’s square. Our Social

All groups interested in participating are requested to pick
up a form from the reception counter from this Wednesday and latest by
10th
May.
We will have a food court during SPLASH. Those interested in
putting up a stall may pick up a form from the reception counter.
Gifts in cash and Kind will be accepted at the Parish
Office.
- We
would
like to thank you for your support at the Easter Vigil snacks counter
at which
we made a profit of Rs. 31,000. This Money will be given in Aid to the
Clergy
Home, Bandra. The
sale of Easter Eggs
that day made a profit of
Rs.44,000/- which will go towards the Hindi convention.
