St.

- On Monday, 2nd November is All Souls Day. The
morning masses at our church will be as of weekdays. The evening Masses will be
at 5:15, 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. The blessing of the graves will be after the 6:15
p.m. Mass.
The Mass at the Seaside Cemetery will be at 5:15 p.m.
We would like to inform you that we have now renovated our Seaside
Cemetery chapel. From next month the cemetery and the chapel will be
kept open every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This is to make it easier for
you to visit the cemetery and also spend some time in prayer at the
Chapel. We
request you to please avoid asking the lady, Lily to open the cemetery
in the
morning.
On All Souls Day the cemetery will be kept open from 8 a.m.
to 8 pm. - The
Senior Citizens Association will be having their Recollection conducted by Fr.
Charles on Saturday, 7th Nov from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s
Convent School Hall. All are welcome. Kindly register your names with the Area
Representatives or Church Reception before 5th Nov ’09.

all invited to our SCC-Wordfest taking place tomorrow/today, Sunday. The morning’s programme of
competitions begins after the 10 am mass. The evening’s variety entertainment
programme also features the 16 member gospel band “The Monsorate Brothers” and
begins at 6 pm at the St. Peter’s
Square. Do drop by for this special event and feel free to bring your guests.
Please note that while the 5 p.m. mass will be in English, there
will be no 6 p.m. mass on Sunday. - All
College & Working Youth are invited to a programme entitled – “MEN ARE FROM
MARS & WOMEN FROM VENUS’ This programme will help you to understand the opposite sex and will be held at our Mini Hall this Tuesday, 27th Oct from 7.30 p.m. to 9:00 pm.
- Please
collect your Mission Sunday envelopes placed in the Sacristy and boxes outside
the Church. The proceeds will go to our Twinned Mission Station, Ashagad.
Filled envelops are to be dropped in our community fund boxes placed at the
rear end of the Church.
- Admission
forms for St. Joseph’s Convent, Junior K.G. will be issued on Tuesday, 3rd
& Wednesday 4th November 2009 . Please look up the Notice Board for
details.
- We will
have our “Searching the Scriptures” on Tuesday after the 7.15 p.m. mass in the
Church.
- If any of
you have an old photograph of the Church ceiling lamps, we would be grateful if
you would give us a copy of the same.
- DVDs of
the movie “Fire Proof” have arrived, please contact Fr. Joel if you need to
purchase them.
- Please

On
Sunday, Oct. 25, St Peter’s parish will celebrate the legacy of its Small
Christian Communities along with the parish WORDFEST. We will begin with Mass
at 10 a.m. followed by fun and fellowship in the school shed.
In the evening after the 5.00 p.m. mass there will be fun
& fellowship based on Biblical
themes along with a live gospel band, ‘The Montserrat Brothers’ performing on
St Peter’s square. Do contact Fr. Charles if you wish to put up a food stall.
Please note that there will be only one mass in English at
5.00 p.m. There will be no 6.00 p.m. mass that day. - You are
reminded of our duties to pray for a Good Government and to Vote wisely for
people who are clean and have a record of working selflessly for the people.
The polls are on Tuesday, 13th Oct.
Electoral files are placed in the Parlour with the new
supplement list. - Advocates
will render “Free assistance” this Tuesday from 7.30 p.m. onwards in the Parish
Parlour.
- We will
have our “Searching the Scriptures” on
Tuesday after the 7.15 p.m. mass in the Church.

The
Family Cell will view a 40 minutes film entitled “Who the hell thought of this
idea called MARRIAGE?” This viewing will be on Sat. 17th Oct. at 6 p.m.
followed by a short discussion. All are welcome.

The
Alves, Elco & D’Monte Street Zones are having their Mission Sunday Food
stall next weekend on the St. Peter’s Square. There will be mouth watering home
made delicacies for everyone. All the proceeds of the day will go to our twinned
Mission Station, Ashagad.
