Non-Parishioner
marriages are allowed at St. Peter’s only if:
1. All the required papers are in
order and 2) They get a No Objection Certificate from their Parish Priests. - Timings
for weddings at St. Peter’s Church:
Mondays to Fridays: 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Except First Fridays: 4:45
p.m.) Saturdays: 4:00 and 5:15 p.m.
Sunday: 3:45 p.m. Non- Parishioners are not allowed to
celebrate their Marriages here at our Scheduled Sunday Masses. - Please
Note: No Single Couple Weddings Are Guaranteed at St. Peter’s.
- We would
also require:
a. That you
get your own priest, (or request a priest at Peters personally) to celebrate
the Mass unless we have a parishioner celebrating their marriage at the same
mass.
b. That all
the Marriage paper-work is done by your own parish and sent to our Church at
least a week before the marriage.
c. That you
discuss & finalise the Liturgy with the priest celebrating your marriage,
following the general guidelines for marriages in the Archdiocese of Bombay.
Discuss your flower arrangement etc with our Sacristan,
Stephen
(Weekdays: 6 a.m. –
9 a.m. & 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.; Sundays: 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. & 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.). - Once you
have gone through these guidelines & the guidelines for St. Peter's Church
parishioners, you may fix an appointment to meet the Parish Priest or any of the
Parish Fathers.
