Keys of the Kingdom prayer group having fun
at their annual Picnic.
The group headed to Karjat,
to the pristine and sylvan environs of ‘Pinewood
Resort’. Our chaplain Fr. Juan celebrated
the Eucharist in a hall surrounded by shady trees
loaded with fruit, birds twittering et all. Followed
by a 5 course breakfast and a spate of games with
audio effects.
The coup de resistance was
the Fancy Dress Competition. The dip in the cool
waters of the swimming pool was refreshing and
the lime drink that followed got everyone ready
for lunch.
After thanking the Lord for
this beautiful day and praying that He bless the
food, one and all immersed themselves into the
7 course meal laid out – unlimited of course….
Followed by ‘Housie’ and a series of
Quizzes.
All of us gave thanks to the
Lord for this beautiful day that He had provided
for us and for the closer bonding between the
members, making us a more united and happy family.
